Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami, Star Wars Rebels, Hell on WheelsWing Commander, Jane the Virgin) is the composer of the new Showtime original series City on a Hill. The show is created by Chuck MacLean based on an original idea by Ben Affleck and stars Kevin Bacon, Aldis Hodge, Jonathan Tucker, Mark O’Brien, Lauren E. Banks, Amanda Clayton, Jere Shea, Kevin Chapman and Jill Hennessy. The drama is set in Boston in the early 90s and centers on the relationship between an anti-corruption crusader assistant DA and a lauded FBI agent who is skirting the law at every turn. MacLean is also producing the project with Affleck & Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting), James Mangold (Logan, Walk the Line), Barry Levinson (Rain Man, Good Morning, Vietnam), Tom Fontana (Oz, Homicide: Life on the Street), Jennifer Todd (Alice in Wonderland, Memento) and Michael Cuesta (American AssassinHomeland) who also directed the first episode. City on a Hill will premiere this Sunday, June 16 on Showtime. Kiner also continues to score the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and is also expected to return as co-composer for the second seasons of Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico (with Gustavo Santaolalla) and DC Universe’s Titans (with Clint Mansell).
