Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1995 drama Apollo 13 directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, Ed Harris, Gary Sinise and Kathleen Quinlan. The album features the original music from the Universal Pictures production composed and conducted by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind, Aliens) who received an Academy Award nomination for his score. The 2-CD set features the composer’s complete score on the first disc and the content of the FYC promotional release, which was released in 1995, on the second disc.
