Jeff Grace is reuniting with director Jim Mickle on the upcoming Netflix original movie In the Shadow of the Moon. The film starring Boyd Holbrook, Michael C. Hall, Cleopatra Coleman and Bokeem Woodbine follows a Chicago detective who leads the hunt for an elusive serial killer whose crimes are timed to the lunar cycle. Gregory Weidman & Geoff Tock wrote the screenplay. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Sinister, Midnight Special) & Rian Cahill are producing the sci-fi thriller for Automatik, alongside Ben Pugh (Welcome to the Punch, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) for 42, and Linda Moran (Transamerica) & Mickle for Nightshade. Grace (In a Valley of Violence, Certain Women, The House of the Devil, Night Moves) has previously scored Mickle’s last three features, Stake Land, We Are What We Are and Cold in July and also collaborated with the director on the SundanceTV series Hap & Leonard. In the Shadow of the Moon is expected to premiere later this year exclusively on Netflix.
