Composer Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Pacific Rim Uprising, Genius) is reteaming with director Matt Tyrnauer on the upcoming documentary Where’s My Roy Cohn?. The movie focuses on Rob Cohn, the American lawyer best known for being Senator Joseph McCarthy’s chief counsel during the Army–McCarthy hearings in 1954 and whose polarizing, brass-knuckle strategies set the stage for the rise of Donald Trump. Tyrnauer (Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood, Valentino: The Last Emperor) is also producing the project with Corey Reeser, Marie Brenner and Andrea Lewis. Balfe has previously scored the director’s last feature Studio 54, which was released this year. Where’s My Roy Cohn? will premiere next month at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

Balfe’s other upcoming feature projects also include Michael Bay’s 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds and Peter Cattaneo’s Military Wives starring Kristin Scott Thomas & Sharon Horgan.
