Lucas Vidal is composing the music for the upcoming fantasy drama Paradise Hills. The film is directed by Alice Waddington and stars Emma Roberts, Danielle Macdonald, Awkwafina, Eiza González, Milla Jovovich and Jeremy Irvine. The movie follows a young woman who is sent to Paradise Hills to be reformed, only to learn that the high-class facility’s beautiful facade hides a sinister secret. Nacho Vigalondo (Colossal, Timecrimes) and Brian DeLeeuw (Some Kind of Hate, Curvature) wrote the screenplay. Adrian Guerra (Buried, Grand Piano) and Núria Valls are producing the project. Vidal has previously scored the 2015 Spanish hit drama Palm Trees in the Snow for the producers. Paradise Hills will premiere next month at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.

Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, The Raven, The Quiet Ones, Tracers) also continues to score the Spanish Netflix original series Elite, which will return for its second season in 2019.
