Premiering tomorrow, November 12, is the second season of the National Geographic original series Mars created by Ben Young Mason & Justin Wilkes and starring JiHAE, Alberto Ammann, Clémentine Poidatz, Esai Morales and Jeff Hephner. The show’s original music is composed by Brian Reitzell (Friday Night LightsHannibalAmerican GodsBoss) who is taking over scoring duties from Nick Cave & Warren Ellis who scored the drama’s first season. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring Reitzell’s music from Season 2 (click here for the full album details).

Premiering on Tuesday, November 13 is DreamWorks Animation Television’s new series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power developed by Noelle Stevenson based on the classic 1980s show and starring Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Marcus Scribner, Reshma Shetty and Lorraine Toussaint. Sunna Wehrmeijer (Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz) is the show’s composer. The show, which revolves around soldier Adora as she finds a magic sword – and her identity as legendary hero She-Ra, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Premiering on Wednesday, November 14, is the YouTube Premium original series Origin created by Mika Watkins and starring Natalia Tena, Tom Felton, Sen Mitsuji, Nora Arnezeder, Fraser James, Philipp Christopher, Madalyn Horcher and Siobhán Cullen. The show’s original music is composed by Edmund Butt (Life on Mars, Bancroft, Mistress). The drama, which follows a group of strangers stranded on a spacecraft bound for a distant planet, will be available to stream exclusively on YouTube Premium.

Premiering on Thursday, November 15, is the animated HBO special The Emperor’s Newest Clothes written and produced by Sheila Nevins, directed by Simon Wilches-Castro and starring Alan Alda (as the narrator), Jeff Daniels, Alison Pill, John Early, Tim Heidecker, Gabriel Sunday and Matt Hobby. William Finn (Falsettos) has composed the original songs (arranged by Danny Ursetti & Michael Starobin) for the project. The animated musical tells the story of a vain ruler who lives in a great kingdom where he decides everything and everyone agrees with him .

Premiering on Friday, November 16 is the Netflix original series The Kominsky Method created by Chuck Lorre and starring Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Nancy Travis, Sarah Baker, Susan Sullivan, Emily Osment, Graham Rogers, Ashleigh LaThrop, Jenna Lyng Adams, Melissa Tang and Casey Brown. The show’s original music is composed by Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, CSI: Miami, Young Sheldon). Also premiering on Friday is Narcos: Mexico, the fourth season of the Netflix original series Narcos. Gustavo Santaoloalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Book of Life) & Kevin Kiner (Star Wars Rebels, Hell on Wheels, CSI: Miami, Titans) have composed the original music for the new season, taking over from Pedro Bromfman who scored the previous three seasons.
