  2. Christopher says:

Who????balfe on second season really made the soundtrack .

    • michael says:

Martin Phipps worked with Zimmer and did Black Mirror, Victoria and War And Peace. Plus previous seasons of The Crown had a lot of additional music from other composers or you really think that Zimmer and Balfe does everything by themselves?

      • ... says:

Zimmer didn’t work on season 2. He only wrote the main title theme which the CD and booklet clearly stated. Rupert Gregson-Williams wrote the score for season 1 and also did season 2 but with Balfe.

        • Adams says:

Wrong. The main theme is written by Zimmer/Balfe/Gregsonwilliams.balfe on his Facebook mention Zimmer’s involvement in season two also.Season two was musically the strongest.who ever the new composer is simply needs to copy that style.anyone know why Balfe/gregsonwilliams isn’t doing it ???
