Premiering on Wednesday, September 19, is the new NBC comedy I Feel Bad created by Aseem Batra and starring Sarayu Blue, Paul Adelstein, Zach Cherry, James Buckley, Aisling Bea and Johnny Pemberton. Premiering on Thursday, September 20, in the U.S. is the Australian drama Dead Lucky created by Ellie Beaumont & Drew Proffitt and starring Rachel Griffiths,Yoson An, Rhys Muldoon and Annie Maynard. Michael Yezerski (Blindspotting, The Devil’s Candy, Drift, Mental, The Little Death) is the composer of the show, which revolves around two feuding detectives hunting a cop killer who is leaving a trail of broken lives across Sydney. The drama premiered in Australia this past July and is making its U.S. debut on Sundance Now.

Premiering on Friday, September 21, is the Netflix limited series Maniac directed by Cary Fukunaga and starring Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, Sonoya Mizuno, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Sally Field. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original movie Nappily Ever After directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour and starring Sanaa Lathan, Ricky Whittle and Lynn Whitfield. Lesley Barber (Manchester by the Sea, You Can Count On Me, The Moth Diaries) has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which follows an ad exec who experiences a romantic setback and embarks on a journey of self-discovery, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original series The Good Cop created by Andy Breckman and starring Tony Danza, Josh Groban, Monica Barbaro and Isiah Whitlock Jr. The show’s original music is composed by Pat Irwin (But I’m a Cheerleader, Feed the Beast, Nurse Jackie). The full first season of the comedy drama, which centers on a pathologically honest detective who tries to keep an eye on his crooked but kindhearted dad, will be available to stream on Netflix.

Missing from last week’s weekly roundup was the new Netflix animated series The Dragon Prince created by Aaron Ehasz and featuring the voices of Jack De Sena, Paula Burrows and Sasha Rojen. The show’s original music is composed by Frederik Wiedmann (Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Field of Lost Shoes, Hangman, Acts of Vengeance, Intruders).
