Quartet Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Spanish romantic comedy The Laws of Thermodynamics (Las leyes de la termodinámica). The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, The Orphanage, A Monster Calls, Mama, Devil, Hercules). To order the CD version, visit the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the track list. The Laws of Thermodynamics is directed by Mateo Gil (Blackthorn, Realive) and stars Vito Sanz, Berta Vázquez, Chino Darín and José María Pou. The movie follows a physicist working on his PhD thesis who accidentally fall in love with a young model and aspiring actress. The comedy will be released in Spanish theaters next Friday, April 20, before premiering in other international territories exclusively on Netflix later this year.
