Trevor Morris is currently recording his score for the upcoming action thriller Hunter Killer.The film is directed by Donovan Marsh (Avenged) and stars Gerard Butler, Gary Oldman, Common, Gabriel Chavarria and Michael Nyqvist. The movie centers on an untested American captain who teams with Navy Seals for a mission to rescue the Russian president. Peter Craig (The Town) and Jamie Moss (Ghost in the Shell) have written the screenplay based on the novel Firing Point by George Wallace and Don Keith. Neal Moritz (Fast & Furious series, 21/22 Jump Street) and Toby Jaffee (Total Recall, Blue Streak) are producing the Millennium Films production with Butler, Alan Siegel & Mark Gill (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Law Abiding Citizen). Morris has previously scored Millennium’s Olympus Has Fallen & London Has Fallen starring Butler. The composer is recording his score at AIR Studios in London. Dominic Lewis was originally attached to score the film. Hunter Killer is currently in post-production and is expected to be released later this year.
Morris also has the AT&T Audience Network series Condor, the Dutch epic Redbad and the Chinese fantasy adventure feature Asura coming up. The composer also continues to score History’s Vikings, NBC’s Taken, Freeform’s Shadowhunters and Netflix’s Castlevania.
