A soundtrack album has been released for Adil El Arbi’s & Bilall Fallah’s Belgian crime thriller Gangsta (Patser). The album features the film’s original music composed by Hannes De Maeyer who previously scored the directors’ last features Black and Image. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Gangsta is co-written and directed by El Arbi & Fallah (Snowfall) and stars Matteo Simoni, Nora Gharib and Nabil Mallat. The movie is set in contemporary Belgium and follows four drug dealer friends who are fan of “Scarface” and aspire to become real-life swaggers and organized crime legends. The thriller is currently playing in Belgium and the Netherlands, where it breaking box office records, and will be released in France on February 21. No word yet on a domestic release.
