Chris Alan Lee is scoring the upcoming Paramount Network comedy Heathers. The show is developed by Jason Micallef (Butter) based on the 1988 cult classic film of the same name (scored by David Newman) and stars Grace Victoria Cox, James Scully, Melanie Field, Brendan Scannell and Jasmine Mathews. The series is set in the present day and revolves around Veronica Sawyer as she deals with a very different but equally vicious group of Heathers. Micallef is also executive producing the Sony Pictures Television production with Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg & Gary Lucchesi (Underworld, The Lincoln Lawyer, Crank), as well as Josh McGuire and Trevor Engelson (Remember Me, Snowfall). Heathers will premiere on March 7, 2018 on the Paramount Network. Visit the official show website for updates.

Lee also continues to score TV Land’s Younger, which will return for its fifth season later this year.

I made the mistake of watching some of the trailer for this.

Awful, awful, awful, awful, awful. Good lord, awful.
