David Lang has been tapped to score the upcoming TNT limited series One Day She’ll Darken. The show is created by Sam Sheridan and stars Chris Pine, Leland Orser, India Eisley, Connie Nielsen, Jefferson Mays, Yul Vazquez, Justin Cornwell, Dylan Smith, Jay Paulson and Golden Brooks. The 6-parter tells the story of Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth. As she begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery. Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman, Monster) is directing the first three episodes and is also executive producing the project with Sheridan, Pine, Michael Sugar (Spotlight, 13 Reasons Why) and Carl Franklin (Out of Time, One True Thing). One Day She’ll Darken is expected to premiere later this year on TNT.

Lang whose previous scoring credits include Paolo Sorrentino’s Youth, for which he received an Academy Award nomination in the Best Original Song category, has also recently scored Paul Dano’s directorial debut Wildlife, which just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
