Steve London is reuniting with director Robert Budreau on the upcoming thriller Stockholm. The film is written and directed by Budreau and stars Ethan Hawke, Noomi Rapace, Mark Strong and Christopher Heyerdahl. The movie tells the true story of a 1973 bank heist and hostage crisis in Stockholm, during which the hostages bonded with their captors and turned against the authorities. The director is also producing the project with Nicholas Tabarrok (Defendor, The Art of the Steal) and Jonathan Bronfman (The Void, Edge of Winter). London and Budreau have previously collaborated on several projects, including 2006’s That Beautiful Somewhere and 2015’s Born to Be Blue starring Ethan Hawke. Stockholm is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere in 2018.
