Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1988 comedy A Fish Called Wanda directed by Charles Crichton and starring John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the MGM production composed by John Du Prez (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Meaning of Life), including over 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. Also included are alternates, unused cues and demos, as well as two unused versions of Wanda’s love song, one performed by Rick Driscoll and the other written and performed by John Cleese. The limited edition soundtrack is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples.

The label has also announced the world premiere CD release of the soundtrack for the 1983 thriller Via degli specchi (Street of Mirrors) featuring music composed by Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Body Double). Click here for more information.
