Blake Neely is scoring the new ABC comedy drama Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. The show is created by Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters (Marvel’s Agent Carter, Resurrection, Reaper) and stars Jason Ritter, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Kimberly Hébert Gregory, Chloe East, J. August Richards, Dustin Ybarra and India de Beaufort. The series evolves around a down-and-out guy who’s visited by a celestial being and given a mission to save the world. Fazekas & Butters are also executive producing the ABC Studios production. Kevin (Probably) Saves the World will premiere on October 3, 2017 and will air Tuesday nights on ABC. Neely also continues to score The CW’s The Flash, Riverdale, Arrow, Supergirl & Legends of Tomorrow, as well as NBC’s Blindspot. He is also composing the music for the upcoming ABC drama Deception. The show is created by Chris Fedak (Chuck, Forever) and stars Jack Cutmore-Scott, Ilfenesh Hadera, Amaury Nolasco, Lenora Crichlow, Justin Chon, Vinnie Jones and Laila Robins. The series follows follows a Las Vegas magician who begins working as a “consulting illusionist” for the FBI when his career is ruined by scandal. Fedak is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with Greg Berlanti, Martin Gero and Sarah Schechter. Deception is expected to premiere in 2018 on ABC.
