Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein won their first Emmy Award for their main titles theme music from the Netflix original series Stranger Things at tonight’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony at the Microsoft Theatre LA LIVE in Downtown Los Angeles. Jeff Russo received his first Emmy Award for his score from the third season of the FX original series Fargo in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited Series, Movie or a Special category. He was previously nominated twice for his work on the show’s first two seasons. Jeff Beal was honored with his fifth Primetime Emmy Award for his score for Netflix’s House of Cards in the Music Composition for a Series category. He previously received an Emmy Award in 2015 and was nominated three more times for his music for the drama. All composers accepted their awards in person at the event. Susan Jacobs won the first Emmy Award in the Music Supervision category for her work on HBO’s Big Little Lies.
