Jon Brion has recently composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Lady Bird. The film marks the solo directorial debut of actress Greta Gerwig and stars Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Beanie Feldstein, Lucas Hedges and Timothée Chalamet. The movie revolves around a rebellious young woman who navigates the pressures and constraints of Catholic school and life in Sacremento. Gerwig also wrote the screenplay. Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, The Social Network) is producing the project with Eli Bush (While We’re Young, Top Five) and Evelyn O’Neill. Lady Bird will be released in theaters on November 10, 2017 by A24.
