Christophe Beck has composed the original score for the upcoming thriller Gringo. The film is directed by Nash Edgerton (The Square) and stars David Oyelowo, Joel Edgerton, Charlize Theron, Paris Jackson, Amanda Seyfried, Yul Vazquez, Thandie Newton and Sharlto Copley. The movie follows an American businessman with a stake in a pharmaceutical company that’s about to go public who finds his life is thrown into turmoil by an incident in Mexico. Anthony Tambakis (Warrior) and Matt Stone (Intolerable Cruelty) wrote the screenplay. Nash Edgerton is also producing the project with Rebecca Yeldham (The Gift, The Kite Runner), Tambakis, Theron, Beth Kono & A.J. Dix (Atomic Blonde, Dark Places). Gringo is set to be released on March 9, 2018 by Amazon Studios and STX Entertainment.

Beck’s other upcoming projects also include Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, Doug Liman’s American Made, Andrew Niccol’s Anon, Brad Silberling’s An Ordinary Man, Disney’s Frozen 2 and the animated short Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.
