Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) has published a number of video clips from the organization’s 2017 Film, TV & Visual Awards gala, which was held this past Wednesday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Check out excerpts from the acceptance speech of this year’s recipient of the BMI Icon Award, Alan Silvestri (Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, The Avengers, The Croods, Cast Away), as well as interview clips with some of the composers who received awards at the event, including Brian Tyler, John Ottman, Jim Beanz, Charlie Clouser and Trevor Morris.
