Philippe Rombi is reteaming with director Francois Ozon on the upcoming French thriller Amant Double. The film is written and directed by Ozon and stars Jérémie Renier, Marine Vacth and Jacqueline Bisset. The movie follows a fragile young woman who falls in love with her psychoanalyst, but soon discovers that her lover is concealing part of his identity. Eric & Nicolas Altmayer (OSS 117, Saint Laurent) are producing the project. The composer is recording his score this month. Amant Double is rumored to premiere in May at the Cannes Film Festival and is set to be released later this year in France.
Rombi has previously collaborated with Ozon on numerous projects, including Swimming Pool, In the House, Potiche, Young & Beautiful, Angel, on most recently, on Frantz, which is currently playing in select U.S. theaters.
