The film is written and directed by Peter Landesman (ConcussionParkland) and stars Liam Neeson, Diane Lane, Tony Goldwyn, Josh Lucas, Michael C. Hall, Marton Csokas, Tom Sizemore, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ike Barinholtz, Bruce Greenwood, Brian D’Arcy James, Noah Wyle, Maika Monroe, Colm Meaney and Eddie Marsan. The movie tells the story of Mark Felt, who under the name “Deep Throat” helped journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein uncover the Watergate scandal in 1974. Landesman is also producing the project with Ridley Scott (Alien, Gladiator) & Giannina Scott (Tristan + Isolde) for Scott Free, Gary Goetzman (Charlie Wilson’s War, Where the Wild Things Are) & Tom Hanks for Playtone, Anthony Katagas (12 Years a Slave, Nerve) & Marc Butan (We Own the Night, Triple 9) and Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Austin Powers). Pemberton has previously collaborated with with Ridley Scott on the feature The Counselor and the TV pilot The Vatican. Felt is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.

Pemberton’s latest project, Gold, will be opening in theaters nationwide on January 27. The composer’s upcoming projects also include Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur, which will be released on May 12 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
