Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Girl in the Photographs. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nima Fakhrara (The Signal, The Pyramid, Exists). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 29, 2016 and physically later this year. The Girl in the Photographs is directed by Nick Simon and stars Kal Penn, Claudia Lee, Kenny Wormald, Toby Hemingway, Katharine Isabelle, Luke Baines, Miranda Rae Mayo and Mitch Pileggi. The movie executive produced by Wes Craven follows a celebrity photographer and his entourage who descend upon a sleepy community to investigate the bloody doings of a serial killer. The thriller premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and was released in select theaters and on VOD earlier this month.

I enjoyed watching this movie, as I was in anticipation of what was to happen next. I enjoyed the music even more and are looking to see who the artist are so I can get a head start on listening in to those tunes.
I can’t wait for this one! This guy killed it on The Signal and Consumed! He should be scoring much bigger movies. He reminds me of a young Hans 🙂
This soundtrack takes this horror film to a new level. It takes you through the journey to a truly scary place. The composer has done a fantastic job making this nightmare a reality. Can’t wait to get my own copy- must have soundtrack.
The soundtrack to this movie really elevated the horror. This guy has been doing this for a while and it shows. I first heard him on the Signal, then Pyramid, and now this. He continuously adds to every movie he is a part of. He reminds me of early Philip Glass. Probably one of the brightest futures in composing today.
