I think it’s Kaleo, a Finnish Rock Band, and the song is”Way Down We Go”. Also used for the Boots ad for Lift and Luminate !! What a great number!

    heading far away
    I’m running from you baby
    Gonna call you today
    Keep on chasing rainbows
I don’t care what they say
I’m asking cos it sounds remarkably like Istanbul Blues from Midnight Express

  5. Chris Davis says:

Many thanks – it reminded me a little of Gare du Nord’s Pablo’s Blues … if you liked Kaleo you might like that, too.

I am afraid John is mistaken. The Handel piece is in fact “Eternal source of light divine” from hus Ode for the birthday of Queen Anne.

Just finished own recording of series and this piece surely is just part of the soundtrack of the series. Though not available anywhere.
