BBC’s ‘River’ Soundtrack Announced

riverSilva Screen Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC series River. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Harry Escott (ShameHard CandyA Mighty HeartWelcome to the Punch). Also included is the song I Love to Love performed by Tina Charles. The soundtrack will be released overseas on November 13, 2015 and in the U.S. on December 4. Visit Amazon to download the soundtrack. River is written and created by Abi Morgan (Shame, Suffragette) and stars Stellan Skarsgård, Nicola Walker, Adeel Akhtar, Lesley Manville, Eddie Marsan, Sorcha Cusack and Georgina Rich. The show follows a brilliant police officer whose genius and fault-line is the fragility of his mind – a man haunted by the murder victims whose cases he must lay to rest. The series premiered earlier this month in the UK on BBC and will have its domestic premiere on November 18, 2015 on Netflix.

    Sorry, but Harry Escott is plagiarising Plaid’s Rakimou. The beginning of that song is playes on loop all through out the series.
    Aside the music plagiarism, the series was amazing!
