Alec Puro is composing the music for the upcoming 3D sci-fi adventure thriller Lost in the Pacific. The film is directed by Vincent Zhou (Last Flight) and stars Brandon Routh and Zhang Yuqi. The Chinese production is set in 2020 and follows a group of passengers stranded on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean after their luxury airliner makes an emergency landing who soon learn the island has been overrun with strange mutated creatures. Zhou has also written the screenplay for the movie with Peter Cameron and also serves as a producer on the Arclight Films production. Lost in the Pacific is set to be released worldwide this winter.
Also coming up for Puro (The Fosters, The Art of Getting By, Ashby, Higher Ground) is the comedy The Runaround starring J.K. Simmons & Emile Hirsch.
