‘The Wave’ Soundtrack Released

the-waveGrappa Musikforlag has released a soundtrack album for the Nordic disaster thriller The Wave. The album features the film’s original music composed by Magnus Beite (Cold PreyRagnarok). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Wave is directed by Roar Uthaug and stars Kristoffer Joner, Ane Dahl Torp, Eili Harboea and Jonas Hoff Oftebro. The movie follows a geologist who tries to prevent a cataclysm when a mountain overlooking a popular Norwegian tourist destination begins to collapse into the ocean. The thriller was released last week in Norway and will have its international premiere next month at the Toronto Film Festival.

    I stumbled upon his “Ragnarok” by sheer luck and was really surprised what an interesting piece of music it was, especially the sweeping main theme. This guy has potential, gonna give “The Wave” a listen.
