Paul Haslinger is set to score the upcoming AMC original series Fear the Walking Dead. The show is a spin-off of AMC’s hit drama The Walking Dead and stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Mercedes Mason. The series is set in Los Angeles and focuses on new characters and story lines. Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator, Armageddon, Aliens), Robert Kirkman, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson (Marco Polo, Sons of Anarchy) are executive producing the AMC Studios production. Bear McCreary has been scoring the original The Walking Dead series since the first episode. The first season of Fear the Walking Dead consisting of six episodes will premiere in late summer on AMC. Haslinger is also scoring the second season of AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire, which currently airs every Sunday night.

So happy to hear that; We are following his works since ages, first in TANGERINE DREAM (he scored a lot for big directors as Katheryne Bigelow) then in french’s electronic music band LIGHWAVE and so on… Really happy to see AMC has chosen him ! Bravo !
