Lakeshore Records has announced the details of the new soundtrack album for the Syfy original series Defiance. The album features the songs from the show’s second season performed by Brendan McCreary, Young Beautiful in a Hurry, Raya Yarborough and Trace Adkins. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 26. A physical version is also in the works and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Sparks & Shadows has previously released a soundtrack album featuring composer Bear McCreary’s music for the series. Defiance created by Rockne S. O’Bannon and starring Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Jaime Murray, Tony Curran, Graham Greene, Mia Kirshner and Fionnula Flanagan will return for a third season on June 12, 2015.
