So, the whole score is approximately 60% Tyler 40% Elfman. I was thinking that Elfman did only the main theme, but his job was bigger than I thought.

Why do you guys think that happened? Is it because Tyler was so busy with Furious 7 that he didn’t have the time to score the whole movie? Or the producers’ and Whedon’s plan since the beginning was to have two composers on board?

And I don’t think that Elfman re-wrote any of Tyler’s material. Tyler doesn’t seem upset with the movie and the producers, and he even posted a picture of he and Elfman together on the premiere.

I just hope that whatever happened don’t stop Tyler to continue working with Marvel. Because it will be pretty depressing if Jackman was hired to score Infinity War 1 and 2.

      • Ed says:

It will be more than likely that Jackman will get the Russo Brothers gig. Or it could be that the latest involvement with Danny Elfman has secured him the future films. The lack of consistency throughout the Marvel universe leads to the role of the next Avengers composer belonging to anyone.

Still, I’m looking forward to a new comic book score from Elfman – it’s been a while.

i’m not one to be a chatty patty but…

  6. Scarecrow9 says:

Anyone know when will samples appear?

  7. MrZimmerFan says:

There is a cue for Brian Tyler: ‘Rise Together’

    Really cool action cue!

      Error 404: Personality not found.

      • MrZimmerFan says:

        And Majecko bitching again

        • Macejko says:

Is stating the obvious really considered bitching? Tyler’s scores rarely possess an unique, distinctive style. His last three major efforts (Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and TMNT) sound completely identical, with the exception of the themes themselves (which are, nevertheless, arranged in the same exact manner). This Avengers cue doesn’t even have that. The score might still turned out fine, though, and I’ll surely listen to it. But for me, Tyler is a composer that is – and probably always will be – more interested in grandieur and overblown orchestration than fine details and thematic development. Which is the stuff that IMHO makes a quality and varied score.

          • tiago says:

“Brian Tyler has no personality” – said the guy who loves every generic RC score.

          • BB says:

“Brian Tyler, has no personality” … kkkkkkkkkkkkkk and Hans Zimmer, Ramin Djawadi and Henry Jackman has not it? No accomplice of RC, can do the scores that Tyler does! And you, clown, still has the courage to say that Tyler, uses these “Hans Zimmer projects” in their work … The main themes of Thor, Iron Man III and TMNT, are similar. But there are copies of one another. Unlike his beloved Hans Zimmer on 12 Years of Slave …

          • BB says:

“But for me, Tyler is a composer that is – and probably always will be – more interested in grandieur and overblown orchestration than fine details and thematic development.”

There is a proof that you’ve never heard Tyler! Never heard The Greatest Game Ever Played, and did not hear the score TMNT!

  8. Scarecrow9 says:

    Great track!

  9. MrZimmerFan says:

Brian Tyler in that has more personality than your beloved Ramin Djawadi in Iron Man

    • MrZimmerFan says:

Well, Djawadi has certain scores I like, PR or Game of Thrones
