red-armyMilan Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Red Army. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Leo Birenberg. The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Red Army is directed by Gabe Polsky and centers on the Soviet Union and the most successful dynasty in sports history: the Red Army hockey team. Told from the perspective of its captain Slava Fetisov, the story portrays his transformation from national hero to political enemy. The movie executive produced by Jerry Weintraub & Werner Herzog premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in select theaters this Friday, January 23.
