The album features the film’s original music from the Columbia Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Elmer Bernstein (The Magnificent Seven, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ghostbusters, Airplane), including the complete score, as well as three source cues written by the composer. Intrada also announced the CD premiere of Bernstein’s score for the CBS television anthology series The General Electric Theatre hosted by Ronald Reagan, which ran from 1952 to 1961 and featured guest appearances by such actors as John Cassavetes, Tony Curtis, James Dean, Bette Davis, Natalie Wood, Fred Astaire, Dennis Hopper and Joan Crawford.
