Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the family comedy Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. The album features the songs from the film, including the new tracks Hurricane by The Vamps, Best Worst Day by Justine Dorsey, as well as songs by The Narwhals, Charles William and IDK & The Whatevs. Also included is a suite from the film’s original score composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The soundtrack will be released on October 7, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Alexander is directed by Miguel Arteta (Cedar Rapids, The Good Girl) and stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Dylan Minnette, Ed Oxenbould, Kerris Dorsey, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge and Bella Thorne. The movie follows a boy who has a very horrible day and finds out that other people can have them too.
