dominionChristopher Young has composed the music for the pilot of the new Syfy original series Dominion. Jeff Rona is currently scoring the other episodes of the first season of the show created by Scott Stewart and starring Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale. The supernatural action drama is based on characters from Stewart’s 2010 film Legion and is set 25 years after the events of the movie and picking up in the aftermath of a catastrophic war between an army of angels and mankind that has transformed the world. Stewart has directed the pilot episode and is also executive producing the Universal Cable Productions and Bold Films production with Vaun Wilmott, Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer (Smallville), Michael Litvak & David Lancaster (Drive, Bobby). Young (Spider-Man 3, Sinister, Entrapment) has previously collaborated with Stewart on the 2011 feature Priest. Rona’s previous scoring credits include such features as Exit Wounds, Phantom and Ridley Scott’s White Squall, as well as TV shows including Chicago Hope and Persons Unknown. Dominion is set to premiere on June 19, 2014 and will air every Thursday night on Syfy. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.

Also coming up for Young is Scott Derrickson’s supernatural horror thriller Deliver Us from Evil, which is set to be released on July 2, 2014.
