Knitting Factory has released a soundtrack album for the thriller The Reluctant Fundamentalist. The album features the film’s original score composed by Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids), as well as several songs featured in the film by artsist including Amy Ryan, Atif Aslam and Zahra Khan. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Reluctant Fundamentalist is directed by Mira Nair and stars Riz Ahmed, Kate Hudson, Liev Schreiber and Kiefer Sutherland. The movie follows a young Pakistani working on Wall Street and chasing the American dream, whose life is fateful changed by the September 11 attacks. The thriller premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and has been picked up by IFC Films for domestic distribution. For more information about the film, visit the official movie website.
