normand-corbeilNormand Corbeil has passed away at age 56 this past Friday following a battle with pancreatic cancer. The Canadian composer’s best known feature film credits include the 1999 hit thriller Double Jeopardy starring Ashley Judd & Tommy Lee Jones, the Wesley Snipes-starring action thriller The Art of War and the 1995 horror movie Screamers. The composer also scored numerous TV shows and films, including the pilot for ABC’s recent reboot of V and NBC’s mini-series The Last Templar and has received two Emmy Award nominations for the TV movies Human Trafficking and Hitler: The Rise of Evil. He was also known for composing music for high profile video game titles, including Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain and was reportedly working on the game/interactive movie Beyond: Two Souls starring Ellen Page.
