  1. Can’t find the final song of the Christmas episode listed above. Believe it was sung by Doris Day, it was such a beautiful song. What was it.

    • Norma Stefanciosa says:

I think I found the song on iTunes. I wondered about it too. It’s called “Christmas Story” and yes, it’s sung by Doris Day.

    • The song is Como Prima but I can’t find the person’s name who performed it in the final scene. Mario Lanzo has a version and if you go to You Tube you can find several versions but none like the one in the special.

  2. Diane (Vruwink) Carlson says:

There was a song I heard tonight also – it was beautiful!!! Would be perfect for a wedding – but haven’t been able to find it yet!!! Anyone know what the song might be?

    • Sam says:

  10. Dee says:

Does anyone recgnize the song at the end of Episode 3, Season 2 which aired on April 14?

  11. elvis says:

What is the name of the song that was played in the last episode of season 2 – it’s the song that plays during the credits

  12. elvis says:

It’s not “walk hand in hand” or “wonderful wonderful,” I’ve tried looking it up but to no avail. Some lyrics goes as follows: “If i just turn to you and if you turn to me, whatever happens then so let it be…we’re not alone, i just feel this way…in this world of fear, somewhere not alone, why fall in love…”

  13. Molly says:

There was a beautiful violin concerto played on the Christmas special when miss jenkinson had found where her children were buried but I have absolutly NO idea what it was called. Please help

  14. kathy says:

Who sang that beautiful song “Coma Prima” so lovely!

  15. Sharon says:

    • Mo says:

“Come Prima” – the last song in the wedding scene of the 2013 Christmas Special is sung by Robert Earl.

  16. Kim says:

What is the name of the song that played last night (January 1, 2014) at the end of the show during the credits? The chorus lyrics were: I will love you forever, love you forever, everyday……

    • Kim says:

The lyrics might have been: I will love you more, love you more, everyday…..(instead of love you forever)

  17. Jackson says:

Last night Series 3, Episode 7 there was a very pretty song towards the end sung by a woman… any ideas ?????

Please contact me at my facebook page: @gleisson.g

  22. Mothball says:

I noticed Dean Martin’s Volare didn’t make the cut on any of the 3 season’s soundtracks. Does anyone know of any other tunes from the show that didn’t make it to the releases? Thanks in advance.

  23. charlie swaney says:

Can anyone identify the last song on series one (episode 1) of Call The Midwife. The partial lyrics are: “I was born to be with you.”. Thanks.

  24. ray smith says:

Robert Earl’s great version of More Than Ever did close the Christmas edition but only on the North American version of Midwife. Fans in the UK tell me the British version ended on a different song. Personally, I thought Come Prima played ‘against’ the wedding scene, could not have used a better song than that one. (Luckily I live in North America)

  25. Trevor says:

Great to hear that Robert Earl’s Come Prima was the song used at the close of the Christmas special. I’m really looking forward to watching the DVD and hearing Robert Earl singing that song again – even though I have had to send to the USA for a copy which will take 2 to 3 weeks to reach us here in Lancashire.

  26. Alsatia says:

Does any one know the name of the Mozart piece sung at Alec’s funeral?

    • Cindy says:

The Mozart choral piece is called “Ave, Verum Corpus.” Lots and lots of recordings and YouTubes of this one – it’s very famous.

  27. Geoff Garland says:

male vocalist who sang ‘Wait for me ‘during the late afternoon episode on Sunday 16 April 14

  28. Peter says:

What was the African instrumental song playing towards the end of the 2016 Christmas Special? I know it so well, but can’t remember the name.
