Elektra Nashville will be releasing a soundtrack album for the new ABC comedy drama series GCB. The album includes two songs performed by the show’s star Kristin Chenoweth, as well as other songs featured in the series’ first season by the country duo The JaneDear Girls, singer-actress Emily West, Brett Eldredge, Joanna Cotten, Billy Joe Shaver, Jaime Hanna, Rick Trevino, Elizabeth Cook, Jason McCoy, and Dean Alexander. None of Jeff Beal’s original score from the show is included. The soundtrack will be released on May 8, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for audio clips. GCB created by Robert Harling is based on Kim Gatlin’s book Good Christian Bitches and stars Chenoweth, Marisol Nichols, Mark Deklin, Miriam Schor, Jennifer Aspen, Annie Potts, David James Elliott and Brad Beyer.
