MovieScore Media has announced a soundtrack album for Régis Wargnier’s 2005 drama Man to Man. The album includes the score from the film written by Academy Award-nominated composer Patrick Doyle (Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). The music is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The album will be released both digitally and on CD on December 27, 2011. For audio clips and to pre-order the album, visit Screen Archives. Man to Man starring Joseph Fiennes, Kristin Scott Thomas and Hugh Bonneville centers on three anthropologists who hunt and capture pygmies for study, in an attempt to illustrate the link between man and ape.

The label has also recently announced a physical soundtrack release of the Irish fantasy drama Hideaways. The album includes the original score from the film composed by Eric Neveux (Intimacy) performed by the Philharmonic Orchestra in London. The CD will be released on December 20, 2011 and is available for pre-order on Screen Archives. Pale Blue has already released the soundtrack digitally and the album is available to download on Amazon. Audio clips are available below. Hideaways directed by Agnès Merlet premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and has recently been released in France. No word yet on a domestic release of the film.
