Two new movies are opening in wide release this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the caper comedy Tower Heist directed by Brett Ratner and starring Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Casey Affleck, Matthew Broderick, Tea Leoni, Michael Pena, Alan Alda, Gabourey Sidibe, Judd Hirsch and Nina Arianda. The film’s score is composed by Christophe Beck. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Tuesday. Also opening wide is the comedy sequel A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and starring Kal Penn, John Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Patton Oswalt and Tom Lennon. William Ross has written the sccore for the movie. A score album will be released on November 15 by Varese Sarabande (click here for the full details). Opening in limited release is the crime thriller The Son of No One written and directed by Dito Montiel and starring Al Pacino, Channing Tatum, Tracy Morgan, Katie Holmes, Juliette Binoche and Ray Liotta. The film’s music is composed by Jonathan Elias and David Wittman (Fighting). No soundtrack album has been announced.
