Sean Callery is set to score the upcoming FOX procedural The Finder. The show is a spin-off of the hit series Bones and is created by Hart Hanson (Bones). The show is set in Key West and centers on man who uses his unique gift to help others recover what they’ve lost. Geoff Stults (She’s Out of My League), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) who first appeared in the sixth season of Bones are playing the main characters on the drama. Hanson is executive producing with Dan Sackheim (Lie to Me) and Barry Josephson (Bones). Callery has been scoring Bones since its fourth season in 2008 and will also return the show’s seventh season this fall. The Finder is expected to premiere midseason on FOX when Bones is on hiatus.
The composer who recently received his eleventh Emmy nomination for his music for the mini-series The Kennedys is also scoring Showtime’s upcoming drama Homeland. In the show, Claire Danes stars as a crack CIA agent who is not above using unorthodox methods to do her job – uncovering terrorist threats in the Middle East. Damian Lewis, Mandy Patinkin, Morena Baccarin, David Harewood and Diego Klattenhoff are co-starring. The series is created by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Gideon Raff. Gordon and Gansa previously worked with Callery on the hit show 24. Homeland is set to debut on October 2, 2011 and will be airing every Sunday night on Showtime.
