As reported last week, Madison Gate Records will be releasing a score album for the live-action/animated hyrbid film adaptation of The Smurfs. Details have now been announced for the album featuring the original score by composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, Beverly Hills Chihuaha). The album will be released on July 26, 2011 and the on-demand CDR is available for pre-order on Amazon. The album will also be available digitally on the same day. Check out audio clips from all tracks on the album below. The Smurfs is directed by Raja Gosnell and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria and Sofia Vergara. The film’s voice talent includes Jonathan Winters, George Lopez, Alan Cummings and Katy Perry. The movie will be released in 2D and 3D next Friday, July 29.
