Varese Sarabande has announced the details for the soundtrack release of the teen comedy Monte Carlo. The album includes 40 tracks of Michael Giacchino‘s original score from the film. The soundtrack will be released on June 28, 2011 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon. Monte Carlo is directed by Tom Bezucha (The Family Stone) and stars Leighton Meester, Selena Gomez, Katie Cassidy and Andie MacDowell. The movie tells the story of a girl and her best friend who travel to Paris with one girl’s future stepsister, where one of the girls is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress, which leads the girls to find themselves going on a dream vacation to Monte Carlo. 20th Century Fox will be releasing the film on July 1.
