Film Music Reporter has learned that Alex Wurman is the composer of the upcoming romantic comedy Something Borrowed. The movie centers around a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend’s fiance following her 30th birthday. The film is an adaptation of the first in a series of novels from Emily Giffin and is directed by Luke Greenfield who has previously worked with composers Paul Haslinger on The Girl Next Door and Teddy Castellucci on The Animal. Something Borrowed stars Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, John Krasinski and Colin Egglesfield. Warner Bros will release the movie on May 6, 2011.

As reported earlier this year, Wurman also has The Last Lions coming up in February. No release date has been set for The Convincer which Wurman scored last year and which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival.

I am looking for Alex Wurman score for “Something Borrowed” I know it is not on the official soundtrack, but can it be found anywhere? There did not seem to be a lot of it in the film, but what I heard I really liked. Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
