Two new movies in wide release this weekend:

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader featuring a score by David Arnold opens in most theaters. A soundtrack album has been released by Sony Masterworks. Check our our previous posting announcing the album release. Two new interviews with Arnold about working on Narnia have recently been published. Also opening wide is the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp starring The Tourist featuring a score by James Newton Howard. Check out our previous announcement of the soundtrack album by Varese Sarabande.

Opening in limited release is David O. Russell’s The Fighter starring Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams. For more information on the film’s music, visit our previous news items on the scoring assignment and the soundtrack release.
