Brian Reitzell has been announced to score the Jodie Foster-directed comedy drama The Beaver. Mel Gibson plays a depressed toy company CEO with a failed marriage starts to wear a beaver puppet on his hand as a form of therapy, much to the initial bemusement of his family. The movie co-stars Jodie Foster and Anton Yelchin. Summit Entertainment will release the film later this year.

Reitzell has also been hired to score the upcoming comedy Goats. The movie is the directorial debut of Christopher Neill, who regularly works as an acting coach and rehearsal advisor. His credits include The Virgin Suicides, Being John Malkovich and Marie-Antoinette. Sofia Coppola, who collaborated with Reitzell on Lost in Translation and Marie-Antoinette will serve as an executive producer on the movie, which is expected to shoot next month. The cast of Goats will be led by Jason Schwartzman, David Duchovny and Robin Wright Penn.

Reitzell also has the thriller Peacock coming up. In the movie, a train accident in rural Nebraska gradually unveils a mystery involving the town’s bank clerk. The film’s cast includes Ellen Page, Susan Sarandon, Cillian Murphy and Josh Lucas. The movie will receive a DVD release on April 20.
